SLEEP TIPS
Sleep is something so fundamental and necessary that basically ALL living animals on earth at some point in a 24 hour period do it, even for a bit.
Sleep is incredibly important for so many functions in your body, similar to movement with effects on your mood, hormones, digestion, energy levels, immunity, and so much more. Although everyone seems to think that as you get older you need less sleep (NOT TRUE), we need about on average 7-8 hours of CONSECUTIVE sleep.
I know that getting consecutive sleep hours can be such a challenge for some people but I urge you to work on some other aspects on your healthy habits list and create a sleep routine or a relax routine that you know will get your mind to stop racing through all the things you have to get done by tomorrow. There is tons of research on it so if you are unaware or curious on the benefits/effects sleep has on your bod please check it out, google scholar is a good resource if you do not have access to a data base. create a relaxing bed time routine
