I’m a personal trainer, holistic nutritionist, massage therapist, yoga teacher and proud dog mom from Ottawa, Canada. I’m passionate about all things health, wellness & fitness. I teach young women health literacy and help them achieve sustainable lifestyle changes towards a healthy body & mind, without dieting, restrictions, or limiting parts of your social life.

I have always been interested in fitness and sports growing up, which led me to my Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. My passion in life is movement in all forms - whether it’s an intense, sweaty AF workout, yoga or even just taking my dog for a walk, I find joy in whatever movement my body needs each day. I love teaching people about different ways they can incorporate movement that they enjoy into their lives without pain.

About Olivia

I’m obsessed with my dog Finn - he’s a 95 lbs husky shepard mix and is a huge sucker for cuddles.  If you follow me on instagram, then you have definitely seen my fur child interrupt some of my workout sessions and videos.

If you know me, you know that I am also a HUGE foodie and I love a good spot with lots of gluten free and dairy free options. I have also always had a bad case of the “travel bug”. Experiencing new places and trying foods from all over the world with the people I love is one of my favourite things to do in the whole world. I have been so fortunate to have been able to travel so much in my young life. My parents took me to Europe a few times, southern states for winter breaks, Cuba, Dominican and Africa (Kenya & Tanzania) for a month in grade 12.  Throughout University, I continued to travel places like the Bahamas, Greece, Portugal, Australia and Bali. Each place I travelled to inspired me in different ways and I am so excited to see where I travel to next! 

 

I have been on a long journey to understand my body and I’ve taken everything I’ve learned and am so excited to share it all with YOU! 


Throughout the years I have been overwhelmed with the abundance of information on health - which diet is best, which workout routine will help you lose that last 10lbs - nothing seemed to work for me. No matter how little I ate,  how “healthy” I ate, how hard I worked out nothing worked. It was Insanely FRUSTRATING!!

It was time for change - I decided it was time to reclaim my health, look for answers, understand from a physiological point how my body works. I started by reading books, journals, articles etc on anything I could find about women’s health & hormones. AT LAST I found something that worked and was SUSTAINABLE. A holistic approach focusing on nourishing your body with real whole foods, proper physical activity & movement, sleep, stress and mental health management.


Given I have two health degrees and I was still struggling to understand my body, I can only imagine how confusing it must be for other women with limited resources. My goal is to help educate women on simple easy ways to get back to their version of health, understand their body’s cues, empower them to make conscious decisions for their health and advocate for themselves. 

Let’s break the diet culture cycle -

I have LIVED this yo-yo, guilt ridden diet culture lifestyle - and have figured out how to overcome it and live a sustainable, healthy life, balanced life. So many coaching programs are about diets or restrictions and they do not focus enough on general health literacy and instilling sustainable behaviours that are realistic for people to stick to. If you want to say a big “F-YOU” to diet culture and make changes to last a lifetime - then I am your girl!

My goal is simple - to try to help educate as many people as possible about health and fitness habits that will lead them towards creating a balanced, fun, happy lifestyle. I want to help teach you how to create a balanced healthy life with fitness routines that you enjoy, meals that you look forward to eating and healthy habits to incorporate into your everyday life. Through my passion and knowledge, I believe I can guide you to make these significant changes in your life. I would love to be a part of your journey and can work with you every step of the way to being the best, healthiest, and happiest YOU.
